Matthew Leach
Matthew Leach brings significant paralegal experience in criminal and complex litigation to his role as a paralegal and research assistant.
Prior to joining Fairmark, Matthew was a paralegal specialist with the US Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia and the Special Counsel's Office under Jack Smith for three and a half years where he worked on federal trials stemming from the January 6, 2021 riot at the US Capitol, public corruption, and other related investigations. Matthew worked closely with federal prosecutors on complex litigation matters before the Federal District Court, DC Circuit, and the Supreme Court, as well as performing research on discrete investigative topics to assist those same prosecutors and law enforcement.
Matthew graduated from the George Washington University with a double major in International Affairs and Political Science, and a minor in French. He is originally from Maine.
